Privacy Policy

Summary

We collect the minimum information needed to run the Site and to answer your enquiries: details you type into the contact form, standard server logs, and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising cookies.

We do not sell your personal information. You have rights over it, including access, correction, and deletion, under Israeli law and, where they apply, the GDPR/UK GDPR.

Information we collect

Information you provide: if you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email, company, phone (if given), message, and whether you asked for updates. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you send on that channel.

Information collected automatically: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited), and a Cloudflare Turnstile token used only to tell people from bots on the contact form.

We do not receive the contents of your business databases through this Site.

How we use information

We use personal information to: operate and secure the Site; respond to enquiries and provide the services you ask for; send essential transactional messages; send updates where you have asked for them (you can unsubscribe at any time); understand and improve the Site through aggregate analytics; detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (EEA / UK) and Israeli law

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to respond to a request you make); legitimate interests (to secure, operate, and improve the Site, balanced against your rights); consent (for non-essential analytics and advertising, which you may withdraw); and legal obligation. Residents of Israel have rights under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law.

Cookies and tracking

Necessary cookies (for example, your theme and cookie-consent choice) are always active and are required for the Site to work. We do not use them to track you.

With your consent, we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the Site is used, and advertising cookies (Google Ads) to measure and improve our marketing. These load only after you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline, they are not set.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards, and as required by law. Our principal processors for this Site are: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and Turnstile bot protection); Google (Analytics and Ads, only after consent); and the automation tools we use to deliver contact-form messages to our team.

If you open WhatsApp from the Site, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own terms. We may also disclose information to comply with legal process, to protect our rights and the safety of others, or in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to this Policy.

International transfers

We are based in Israel and use providers located in various jurisdictions, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and recognized adequacy decisions, including the adequacy decision covering Israel) as required by applicable law.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy: enquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward; analytics and log data for a limited period. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and the principle of collecting the minimum data necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (we do not sell personal information). Residents of Israel have rights under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law.

To exercise any right, contact us at sales@apoint.co.il. We will respond as required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, and in Israel with the Privacy Protection Authority.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
